Boralex Inc. is a major private electricity producer whose core business is the development and operation of power stations that run on renewable energy. Employing close to 300 people in Québec, the northeastern United States and France, the Corporation owns and operates 22 power stations with a combined installed capacity of 347 MW. Boralex is the largest producer of wood-residue energy in North America, operating six thermal power stations in the states of Maine and New York with a total installed capacity of 204 MW.
