Snowflake White Mountain Power Biomass Facility (Snowflake, AZ)

This biomass plant has an installed capacity of 24 MW and commenced commercial operations in June 2008.   The plant has two long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) in place with Arizona Public Services (APS) and Salt River Project (SRP), Arizona's two largest electric utility companies.  These PPAs provide that all of the power generated from the plant over a 20-year term is pre-sold.  The plant features a new B&W bubbling fluidized bed boiler, and will be fueled by woody waste material from the surrounding National Forests and local green waste sites, along with waste recycled paper fibers from an adjacent newsprint mill operated by Catalyst Paper Corp.

Susanville Biomass Facility (Susanville, CA)

We acquired this idle biomass facility from Sierra Pacific Industries in November 2007.  The plant has an installed capacity of 13 MW and we intend to refurbish and restart the plant during early 2009, subject to securing required permits and other activities necessary to restart the plant.
